2008 - For the second year in a row, Oprah Winfrey was named “Most Powerful Celebrity” according to a new survey by Forbes magazine. She was given the title again by the money magazine, which ranked celebrities based on their earnings over the last year (a total of $275 million for her), along with press clippings, Google hits, television mentions and magazine covers.
